An exciting mail from Chantal came with a beautifully illustrated Children's book entitled - Ente, Tod und Tulpe. Which translates to Duck, Death and the Tulip. Chantal suggested that children's books are helpful when picking up a new language, and with such an interesting book, I am surely feeling a renewed determination. The book also inspires me creatively. Being an illustrator myself, one of my dreams is to work with an author to create something beautiful for children and adults.
Although the language level used in the book is slightly more advanced than what I've picked up so far, I'm quite certain that positivity will come off it. Already I've found a short animated film of the book on youtube that will assist me. The wonders of the interwebs.
